Hi, Sweeties,
You know we've just registered at Posada de San Juan--I just copied the directions to Jardines (from the San Jose airport)--I read the entire Jardine's website--lovely, fun, perfect! A friend of mine is contacting a friend of hers who lives in San Francisco, so we will soon get advice and tips on touring. I'd like to see the S.F. Museum of Modern Art as well as all the other famous sites. I've written a two long letters to your mom so far. Thanks for all your advice. Love, Pat

Dear Teri and Scott,
Just booked flight, car, hotel in SF--ordered Tour Guides from AAA. Will pack everything in a carry-on--I will not arrive with no luggage the day before a wedding! Just realized that I can walk from the church to the posada to change before the reception if I feel over or underdressed. I never realized I was such a control freak! Love, Pat

Dear Teri and Scott,
Just checked out the location of our hotel in San Francisco--it's one half block from the Cable car start! And five blocks from Chinatown--and one mile from the Museum of Modern Art! I just bought a Matisse poster--the original of which is in the Modern--I want to go see it. We are one mile from the Moscone Center --whatever that is--I just received my AAA Tour Guide so I'll look that one up. We are two miles from Fisherman's Wharf. I want to walk down Lombard Street--I think we're pretty close to that too. AS George used to say when he was little, "I so 'cited!"
Did your parents tell you about my American Indian name? She-With -The-Smoldering-Credit-Card...
Love, Pat

Dear Teri and Scott,
I was leafing through a travel magazine--they had a photo and a write up about the mission--and a description of San Juan de Batista--I can't wait to see the chickens and roosters roaming free in the streets.
Love, Pat
